I believe it's a HE, not a she (according to the video). And they said he got separated from his mom in a huge storm and they can't find the mom. So, no foul play or anything.

Too bad there's an ad before the video starts...... one of my favorite things about Care2 videos is that they're free of those awful ads! Well, 99% of 'em, at least so far.

Happy this baby could be saved. That is preferable to his dying somewhere - tiny and alone! Thanks to those who rescue all creatures!
