my cats do not do this (they just give me the look that says NOW) but one of my dogs leaves an array of toys on the other side of the bathroom door if I close it when taking a bath... when the door isn't closed he just dumps the one toy in the water over ...and over ... ;-)

My cats do this and it means, "Pick me up and nuzzle me." And, of course, I oblige!!

What a precious little cutie pie...I think that face was so cute..I want to give the kitty kisses...
I have a couple of these guys! Mine are of the unpedigreed variety (which is NO PROBLEM to me), but just as charming and insistent as this cutie. And the tapping is just one of the things they do; if I ignore them, they whine, bring toys, sit on their hind legs and beg, you name it! Anything goes but quitting until they get what they want.

Very sweet! I love this breed ... and actually ALL breeds, I guess! My son's Pixie-Bob does this, mostly in the kitchen (and so, mainly to me!). WITH claws, just in case we don't notice :)
