Cheetah Cubs Playing (Video)

 

Five energetic baby cheetahs were born at the Whipsnade Zoo in the UK recently. The adorable cubs are enjoying playing with their mom and each other.

They are adorable...but it would have been more wonderful if they could live as free wild animals.

Absolutely precious. In the wild these babies would not survive. A mother is fortunate to raise one baby to maturity. Lions and leopards seek out little cheetahs to kill, and their mother is no match for them. Ignorant livestock owners are still hunting, trapping, and poisoning them. Poaching is still an ongoing problem. As long as they are well cared for (which it appears they are), I have no problem with these beautiful, endangered cats being in zoos or sanctuaries.

Right Natasha, they belong to nature and humans has no right to have them in captivity. Wild animals deserve to live in their habitat,
