Here’s the easy how-to formula:
Just make an infusion of any of the following dried herbs, strain and cool, and place the infusion in an ice-cube tray! When the cubes have frozen, simply remove one and rub it directly on your face, neck, and arms for a deliciously cooling and hydrating effect. This also has a toning action because it quickens blood circulation in the capillaries of the skin.
One heaping tablespoon of any of the following dried chopped herbs:
Lavender – Reduces inflammation and cleanses
Rosemary – Antiseptic, toning, and vitalizing
Mint – Toning and refreshing
Steep herbs in 9 ounces of boiling water for at least 10 minutes, then strain, reserving the liquid. Allow liquid to cool, then pour into ice cube tray.
Frozen infusions will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.
