Create Your True Self

The most creative act you will ever undertake is the act of creating yourself. It takes place on countless levels, seen and unseen. It marshals all the intelligence of the universe, compressing billions of years of knowledge into every second of life.

Don’t you realize that the history of the universe has brought us here to this second? We are the privileged children of creation, for whom all of this was made.

If your true source is in the subtle, unseen world rather than in the physical, then your body isn’t really made up of cells. These are not the building blocks of life, nor are the atoms and molecules that cells can be broken down into. The body is built on invisible abstractions called information and energy–both of which are contained in your DNA.

Your deepest beliefs are the most powerful creative forces. Your physical body grew out of the surging impulse of life contained in DNA. Without this impulse, information and energy are inert. Likewise your thoughts and emotions flow into the world from the unseen impulses of intelligence that make up your subtlest body, the causal body.

The reason we all go to sleep at night is so that we can put all these bodies in order after the exertions of being awake and active. But the subtlest work of all is done in pure silence. In deep silence we return to the ultimate cause, pure Being.

It is always a pleasure to read Deepak Chopra. Do you know his meditations on 21 days? They are jewels.

I sure do miss Deepak's contributions to the Care2 Community. It was nice to come back to this article and read the comments and remember how this particular site brought certain people together, and always made us feel good! What are the chances that Dr. Chopra would seriously reconsider his role in our culture and society now that the world has taken a very unexpected turn. I think it would be fantastic!

I don't think I have my, an a true self a self of selves. or where it has gone to.

I wonder if Internets bring out repressed parts of us.
or just aid more vessel for personas. personas are not good for our true selves? do we get lost in them?

A wonderful loving memory and also a powerful insight regarding your father, as you worded it:

'bodies' were re-aligned - and as Deepak puts it 'put in order' again. Then upon awakening .....after a minute or so...the waking body takes over again......and the waking mind believes in the disease.....so there it is again.

And therein your father left a jewel for you. A treasure in many ways that his love for you lives on in your heart and also for your well-being. Especially loving, this most intimate of relationship you keep alive, and see the wellness of it! Thank you so much for sharing~

Blessings and Love, Gaby~
