Fall is here! The weather is chilly and blustery, the leaves here in Atlanta are starting to change, and it’s time for some cozy eats. What I love about crock pot recipes is that they’re easy. Fall is a busy time for most folks, and it’s so nice to throw a bunch of ingredients into a crock pot and later have a yummy side dish or even a whole, hearty meal waiting for you.

I've been a vegan for 38 yrs. in November! I became one due to my love of animals over the love of meat! A bit surprised to see so many recipes with corn, soy and wheat when these foods, and by products contribute so much to excess fat in our bodies; however I am no embarking on a journey to eliminate soy as my primary source of protein - I use Whey protein as well as legumes, nuts and seeds - to get rid of this body fat! People think all vegetarians / vegans are thin; however we still love junk food too! Chocolate is my down fall...
