Unfortunately, because I know that a lot of people here are opposed coal products in any form, I must share that coal tar soaps really do work. I've personally known people with skin conditions who were helped by these. Thank you.

I worked in the beauty industry and often when people would come in with terribly sore psoriasis I would suggest they should change their soaps, shampoos, conditioners and perhaps clothing to something else. Soaps and the like should be a low PH and good for sensitive skins, However my recommendations for those with sore psoriasis on their arms and legs for instance was to get zinc cream and mix it with a good moisturiser esp for chronic skin conditions. Mix the zinc in and apply during the day and liberally then at night apply again and wrap with a cotton bandage. Zinc cream is what surfers use on their nose and lips as do cricket players. Anyway do this daily and watch how your skin is healed. Takes a few days to a week but it does work as it does to be vigilant. Another thing is, what dehydrating things do you eat or drink?
Do you drink water but not enough?
Water is needed to hydrate you as well as your skin and its your skin that reacts from lack of water by ' arcing' up and then the skin cells cant cope and lift off too fast as he said. You get zinc from fish and seafoods and some vegies too ie chinese cabbage and peas to name a few.

You also could be allergic to some foods, dairy and certain drinks and perhaps too much sugar is being ingested. Perhaps writing a food diary along with your water intake is good so you can show your Dr. Mostly zinc is from seafood and if you dont eat enough fish you then lack zinc so you have to select a way to have it often. Helpful tips in a great format.

My cats were all different personalities. Saying they don't like shelters should be obvious.
