I am a senior citizen and since losing my husband to cancer and retiring from work, have joined several clubs' where people are in similar situations .Some of us are not in the best of health,or have varying degrees' of disability, but it is the social interaction and being able to have a laugh with others' which keeps most of us going. It is isolation which is a killer as you get older.
