DIY Turmeric Latte

Coffee shops are rolling out turmeric lattes this fall, but you can make your own with healthier ingredients and for less money in your own kitchen with our cheater recipe. No espresso maker required. Here’s how!

Every place that offers a Turmeric Latte is a little bit different. Some include coffee or espresso, somesteam up a mug of golden milk and call it a latte. I’m not here toarguesemantics, though. I’m just here to share a delicious, creamy coffee drink packed with turmeric power!

This recipe is sort of a mashup ofthe Golden Milk recipe that Maggie McCracken sharedlast summer here at Care2 and my own Dirty Chai. I love how the deep seasonings and touch of sweetness in this recipe work with the bitter coffee flavor. You can use decaf, if caffeine isn’t your thing.

That's part of my winter fare. It's no use being in denial about the change of season but when the clocks need to be put back an hour this weekend, I should get the message.

Thanks for your useful article on innovative uses for turmeric. However, I'm at it again about interchanging the words "healthy" & "healthful". As someone who makes her living by writing, & presumably a native speaker of English you ought to know that they are NOT interchangeable! Check them out!
