+ add your ownIt's clear to me that many animals mourn not just their own young when they die, but other animals they were close to. If we ignore this it demeans us.
SEE, THESE ANIMALS DEFINITELY MOURN THE LOSS OF THEIR BABIES!
This death and others ike this are preventable by simply enclosing the propellers in a cage. This should be mandatory on all boats particularly areas like these. Needless suffering.
As sad as it is to watch this video- It is good in one way that people become more aware of other sentient beings,not just the human species. And it is good that their is eco-tourism. But can they not use pontoon boats or paddle boats that do not have propellers? For once again, it is we as a species that have caused this harm. Should we not think of the consequences before proceeding with actions? It is sad that no one has come to that conclusion & changed the situation to prevent this from occurring in the future.

Well done mr fisherman, but it is you that is causing this, in your tourist boat that has propellers on it hat are responsible for slicing up her baby. I remember maybe seven years ago hearing the heartbreaking story on the news that the Yangtze River Dolphin had been declared extinct and the reasons for this? 1. Pollution in the river was so bad. 2. The tourist boats running up and down the river have propellers on them that cut through countless dolphins. Now, not satisfied with the extinction of one species they are still allowing these boats to do the same again on another river. PLEASE PLEASE do not take trips on these boats. I didnt watch the video, I couldn't, but the photo of the mother carrying her baby was enough. The caption to that picture was surely 'what have you done to my baby?' it's too heartbreaking.
Of course animals have feelings and would grieve for their young. Very heartbreaking to watch.

Heartbreaking. This video shows animals have feelings, too. Fishermen should think about that from time to time.
with these observations among our creatures, doesn,t it make you WONDER how anyone could ever MISTREAT, or react inhumanely to them???
