Emotional Healing with Flower Remedies

Emotional Healing with Flower Remedies

Are you suffering from exhaustion, loneliness, fear, or uncertainty?† Bach Flower Therapy offers a remedy for what ails you. With almost 40 remedies (made from spring water infused with wild flowers) to choose from, you may be wondering which one to choose for your emotional needs. Here are four of my favorites to help you get started.

Overworked and Worn Out
Our fast-paced life can take its toll on our energy.† If youíre exhausted from balancing work, home, and personal demands, Olive is the remedy to help you regenerate body, mind, and spirit. It is the remedy of choice when you are exhausted from excessive work demands or are suffering from a lack of sleep. Add two to four drops of Olive to a glass of water four times daily for several weeks or until you start feeling greater vitality.

Depressed and Unhappy
Do you feel stuck in your life, depressed that life hasnít gone the way you wanted, or simply unhappy with your circumstances? The Bach Flower Remedy Wild Rose is the one to choose when you feel a lack of joy in life, bored with your current circumstances, derive no satisfaction from your achievements, or feel like youíre stuck in a holding pattern. Add two to four drops to a glass of water, four times daily until you feel like life holds more joy and excitement.

Adjusting to Life Changes
Regardless if you’re starting a new job, moving away, experiencing menopause, leaving a long-term relationship, or retiring, Walnut is the remedy to help you adjust to new life circumstances. It also helps if you know you need to make a change and just don’t think you have the courage or resolve to do so.. Take two to four drops in a glass of water four times daily during major or minor life changes.

Traumatized, Injured, or Stressed-Out
If youíre dealing with traumas, injuries, serious stresses, or just donít know which remedy to choose Rescue Remedy is the flower essence to select.† It contains five flower essences: Star of Bethlehem for trauma and shock, Rock Rose for terror and panic, Impatiens for irritability and tension, Cherry Plum for fear of losing control, and Clematis for being more emotionally present in life. Rescue Remedy is suitable for physical or emotional traumas, injuries, or simply to help you through difficult experiences. Like the other remedies, take two to four drops of Rescue Remedy in a glass of water four times daily for as long as necessary.

Of course, no matter what emotional or physical issues youíre dealing with, you should always consult a physician or other qualified health professional.

I'm finding Confidence Essence and Concentration Essence by Jan de Vries quite helpful.

I used rescue after my brother died. I think I need olive right now.

Laura - yes there are more essences than Bach. Visit www.BAFEP.com for a full list of other essence producers. The Bach essences were the great pioneer essences of their time, however many more types of essences are now made which cover a wide range of issues and some of these are better than Bach!

Does anyone besides "Bach" make these floral essences? Or is there some sort of patent on the formulas? If other manufacturers exist, then this seems awfully like an infomercial for this brand.

If there are no others, then okay. In that case, the link to "39 Flower Remedies for Every Emotion" is a much better reference article.

I thought this was an article about Flower Essences, which you can buy on your local high street as well as online?
Re: placebo or not. Flower Essences go back further than Bach, they have been used by all of our ancestors for centuries, our ancestors knew the value of plant medicine. They knew they worked, and we know they still do. There are professional governing bodies in the UK and USA regarding essences. Contact their websites for FFI.
