The cost of processing a paper ticket is approximately $10, while processing an e-ticket costs only $1. In the near future, e-tickets will be the only option, saving the airline industry $3 billion a year. In addition to financial savings, the sheer amount of paper eliminated by this process is commendable. Fly green with kids.

it´s great that e-tickets are finally here.
I always use e-tickets except on the rare occasion that I am issued them. I book 99% of my trips online, but even if I get a regular ticket, I will either recycle them or put them in a scrapbook. I only take 1 plane trip a year (if that many), so I don't have a lot of tickets to deal with. I'm sure the entire industry will go to e-tickets pretty soon.
Then on the other side I write my daily things to do while I'm traveling. After I
transfer all this to my agenda/diary I
recycle the paper.
For my very first travel last year in april to thailand, I used e-ticket. I agree with wath Monica D. has said : I live in France and there's a lot to see. In USA they(re is a lot to see too. In future I will not leave in France but in Thailand, India or Sri Lanka.
Try to fly less is better for the planet. ANd try to by local-food too ! Food transportation is very a hidden face of pollution made by food habits.
i'd like to walk to jamaica for my vacation, but since cuba is in the way, it's out of the question.
Thanks for sharing
Or ... don't fly, holiday locally instead. That will be even better for the planet!
