Feel Good in 15 Minutes…Or Less!

Feel Good in 15 Minutes…Or Less!

The tips I’m going to offer here are really simple, but they always work wonders. Do try them if you’re in need of some instant pick-me-up.

Sip a healing cup of green tea. I love jasmine and camomile, sweet orange and lavender. You?

Get rid of a few things you don’t need. Better still, set them aside for someone who might really need them.

Buy something you really need.

Tick one important thing off your to-do list. Literally takes a load off your mind.

Stretch, bend, jog on the spot, or dance. A workout always works to make you feel good.

Lie down and do nothing for a while. A spot of idleness is equally wonderful.

Brush your teeth. Instant freshness!

Been staring at the computer too long? Stop! Cup your palms over your tired eyes for a couple of blissful minutes. Then dab your face and neck with a towel wrung out in warm water that’s been sprinkled with essential oil. Very relaxing. And next time you work on the computer, remember to blink often and take frequent breaks.

Music! It’s magic.

Soak your feet in warm soapy water. And while you’re at it, give them a massage with rich cream, then slide them into a pair of cotton socks. So comforting!

Spend time with children or flowers. Or both!

Thanks. They are all great ideas - especially the "blink often" when on the computer. I have to keep eye drops by mine because I forget to blink (LOL).

Everybody needs a pick me up now and then, but if you consistantly feel down, don't be afraid to ask your doctor if it could be something more.

Green tea is a particular plant. Herbal "teas" come from different plants. They are completely different. Camomile is not actually tea, and it certainly is not green tea. I take tea very seriously.
