Nice article...I just rescued a Tortie...tortiseshell...she was declawed, and without a home in the wilderness...what a ride this has been...great little kitty! She's so greatful, been sleeping with me everynite...most the times on my body, lol! Purrs like crazy...so I know she is greatful! I've been feeding her great food, did a revolution flea control...she's quite the queen, bit scizophenic...but only been here 5 days,,,great to have a new friend! I wish I could adopt more! I can't imagine anyone declawing a cat, then throwing her away to the wild! How cruel is that! I had to save her, as no claws men't she could not defend herself, or climb a tree, etc...she's still adjusting, but so very greatful! Purrs all the time....When you rescue a pet...they are forever greatful! Even tho didn't find her on Pet Finders...she found me...anyway it's all good...And you will feel good too...so go find your new friend...! It's all worth it!
