Find Clues to Your Destiny

To talk about coincidences as coded messages from the non-local intelligence makes life sound like a mystery novel. Pay attention, watch for clues, decipher their meanings, and eventually the truth will be revealed. In many ways, that’s exactly what happens. After all, life is the ultimate mystery.

It seems that it is only at the end of our lives that we will be in a position to look back and see the path we followed. In retrospect, the narrative of our lives appears perfectly logical. We can easily follow the thread of continuity upon which we gathered our life’s experiences. Even now, at whatever point you are in your life, look back and notice how naturally your life flowed from one milestone to the next, from one place or job to another, from one set of circumstances to an entirely different set.

Notice how effortless it all could have been if you had only known where your path was leading. Most people look back and ask: What was I so worried about? Why was I so hard on myself, or on my children?

If we were able to live at the level of the soul all the time, there would be no need for hindsight to appreciate the great truths of life. We would know them in advance. We would participate in creating the adventures of our lives.

Most of us don’t live at the level of the soul, however, so we must depend on coincidences to show us the will of the universe. We have all experienced coincidences in our lives. The word coincidence refers to events or incidents that occur with other incidents—two or more events occurring at the same time. Because the experience of coincidences is universal, most people take them for granted, life’s little quirky moments that we marvel over, then quickly forget.

A coincidence is a clue to the intention of the universal spirit, and as such it is rich with significance. The meaning does not come from the coincidence itself. It comes from you, the person who is having the experience. Coincidences are messages from the non-local realm, guiding us in the ways to act in order to make our dreams, our intentions manifest. So first you must have an intention, and then you must get in touch with your spiritual self. Only then will you have a way of using coincidence to fulfill your intentions.

I love coincidences and experience them quite often, like finding gold cake decoration writing saying 'Happy Birthday' next to my car when I parked up on my birthday, and finding an elephant pendant in the street half an hour before taking my mum to the zoo as arranged. The synchronicity is nearly always amusing, always lovely, but I rarely find that it guides me in my decision making. It does, however, make me feel highly privileged and connected to my maker.

And how many "clues" in our life have we paid attention to, or chose not to see/hear them? Do they really lead to our destiny or another path?

Do we have a destiny? Should we stop making choices and decisions now?

If your 'intention' is quite clear in your mind and the actions you take are taken working towards that goal - but should the goal not come to fruition, and you try another few times - then that presumably means that that particular goal was not meant for you. On the other hand, the person who perseveres often reaches their goal. One doesn't want to give up too easily.
Not all journeys are effortless.
