Hormonal imbalance during menopause can also affect your nail health.

Interesting. When my anaemia was bad, I accidently bashed my finger which instantly blackened and began to fall off within days. It took six months to grow back and was a damned nuisance. If you are deficient in anything the damage to yourself from injury may consequently end up far worse than if you are healthy. It will take longer to heal as well. So you have to take extra care of yourself to avoid these unwanted and inconveinient mishaps. Trust me, you wouldn't think it, but a finger nail detaching itself is a real pain in the backside and affects everything you do!!

Good to know. Also look for ridges, they speak up for our health as well.
