I find it upsetting that you are highlighting a product like paper straws, more environmentally questionable throw-a-ways. Please Care2 I expect more from you.

Maybe it's just me, but how is it helpful in any way to have suggestions for decorations for the 4th of July that are posted on July 5th?!? Even if it POSTED on the 4th, that doesn't give someone time to prepare- maybe it would help to post these kind of articles a few days BEFORE the holiday in question.

This goes for the "recipes" for particular occasions, too. (there was a post on Care2 TODAY- the 5th- for "vegan recipes for the 4th".)

The likelihood of my remembering these ideas for NEXT year is non-existant...
