Usually folks are upbeat and busy in May, the month when shrimpers get back to work in Louisiana’s rich waters. But this spring, catches are down, docks are idle and anxiety is growing that the ill effects of the BP spill may be far from over. Photo Credit: Bruce Tuten via Flickr.

I live on the gulf coast in Al. I won't eat the local catch, I don't trust FDA EPA or any testing lab of the goverment. We need to really stick it to the oil industry for the mess the are creating all over the world.
Thanks
It about time ALL of our politicians, including and especially the supreme court were thrown out of office--they are so totally unAmerican that it is a really sick joke.
Corporations need to be held accountable for any and all the harm they cause, instead of being accountable for nothing.
Why do we keep paying in our tax dollars to support these idiots who do nothing but raze our world, take our money and enslave and dictate to us?
When is BP going to trial? What is wrong with the US public and our government that this is tolerated? Hang them high!
Not eating any. Screw BP for destroying lives of animals and fish.
We must eat veg'n organic to save all life now. Please read just a little to see how destroyed all trees, ocean life, fresh water creatures, and land mammals, birds, etc are at this critical point. If we only stop eating cattle, the trees and land and water will recover like nothing else. We need trees for cooling and moistening the air, cleaning the soil and water, and for preventing the desertification already in progress. It takes so many acres of cleared land to feed even one human being cattle, and the land is no use after 8 years, so more land must be clear cut. This is death to all. The waste into the air soil and waters, and the amount of water, grain, land necessary for one human to eat cattle is enormous! Our tax dollars SUBSIDIZE the most destructive thins happening. Same is true for fish and marine life...all is insanely opposed to what is sustainable and ethical and respectful to this creative, life-giving, Universe. What has taken billions of years to produce is being wiped ou and made filthy in one, two, three, four generations of human blindness and greed, loss of compassion, loss i=of inner spiritual seeking.
thank you :)
Why, according to BP, everything is just fine again in the Gulf. Nothing to see here, folks, just move along. Just as BP has done---on to it's next potential oil spill. As some comments mention, they're already tainting the next Olympics with an oily film.
