Have You Risked Everything? Become a Heartpreneur Pt 3

Welcome back to the Become a Heartpreneur Series, where weíve been talking about how to do well by doing good and connecting to your calling while still making the moolah. This next installation in the series is aimed specifically at those of you who have taken a leap of faith in order to fulfill your lifeís destiny, only to find yourself stuck.

Does this sound like you?

Are you a woman entrepreneur who risked everything to pursue your passion, only to find that things arenít working out according to plan? Do you worry what everyone will think if you canít make it after all that youíve given up? Do you just know youíre here on earth to change the world, even though the stars donít seem to be aligning right now?

Are you ready to finally get out of your own way so you can skyrocket to the stratosphere?

Oh yeah, baby. Trust me. I hear you.

I know how exciting it was when you took that leap of faith (or got pushed off the cliff) and decided to launch your own business. You trusted the process and had a gut feeling of rightness that built your confidence and led you to believe that the stars would all align. You invested your hard-earned money, spent a boatload of time working for free, and maybe even quit that stable soul-sucking job so you could really focus on doing what you love.

You felt called to do something that would change the world and leave your mark.

But now you feel confused and lost because things just arenít happening the way you dreamed they would. The clients are trickling in, but nobodyís beating down your door. Your product isnít flying off the shelves. Youíre having trouble enrolling participants in your events. And your expenses are rising so much faster than your income that you feel like youíre drowning.

Your greatest fear is that youíll have to abandon your big dream and go back to the hell you lived through before you started doing what you love.

The worst part is that you just donít understand how this could happen. You listened to all the signs from the Universe, read The Secret, did your business homework, and focused on your manifestation exercises. Youíve heeded advice from others, clarified what you long to create, and worked your butt off to make your dream come true.

So why isn’t it all happening?

You canít help comparing yourself to others who seem to get all the breaks. You start to doubt yourself. All that confidence you felt in the beginning is seeping out of your pores, and youíre left with this sinking feeling that you just donít have what it takes to make it big. You wonder if you misinterpreted the signs that led you to take this leap. And you start to feel really, really alone.

Why has the Universe let you down when youíre only trying to help others and leave the world a better place than you found it?

This is a really good insightful article. I think we should not, however, overlook the fact that THE MARKET HAS DISAPPEARED!! Due to many people just not having the money anymore to buy our products. We should remember this first and foremost and not soul search our own shortcomings - that just gets you very depressed. I had fabulously wealthy clients whose wealth was tied up in real estate, now, although not broke, they are terrified to spend anything outside the essentials - or anything which may subtract from their retirement budget.
Our dreams were correct, our talents are still there, our energy and enthusiasm are still above boiling point. But we now live in an era where the luxury of being able to realize these abilities is (hopefully) temporarily put on hold. I think the answer is to just "hang in there". Do whatever you can to survive, do the mindless work if you have to, but keep your imagination working on how you are going to live when this is all over.
I take my strength from a Jewish man who was in a concentration camp during WW2. Even during his terrible, terrible ordeal and many months of solitary confinement he invented a mathematics by scribbling on his cell wall. It is called the Trachenberg method - and you can read his book about it - but it's a bit difficult! I cannot imagine anything more horrible that this man's ordeal, he had it far worse than me and he achieved far more than I ever could. So, just keep persevering, don't give up hope, one day it

Maybe it's not 'us' who are getting in our own way. Maybe it's all those other people who don't think that our gifts are so valuable, and anyway, they don't have time or enough money to even give it a try. Maybe all this high level 'passion' puts low energy people off because Law of Attraction does not draw opposets. Maybe our culture is set up so that the hurdles and expenses one has to over come just are not worth the effort. Maybe just haveing a mundane, happy life , unemcombered by lots of stuff and ambitions is perfectly fine. But that doesn't mean it's okay to accept less than a liveing wage from your work place.
