Many of the phytochemicals listed below provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits:

  • Anthocyanins (malvidins, delphinidins, pelargonidins, cyanidins, peonidins)
  • Flavonols (kaempferol, quercetin, myricetin)

  • Hydroxybenzoic acids (coumaric acids)
  • Hydroxybenzoic acids (gallic acids, procatchuic acids)

And these are only some of the phytochemicals we’ve studied so far!

There are so many wonderful super foods out there. I do want to mention thatBlueberries should be organic since they do use a lot of pesticides on them. On the shoppers guide to pesticides in produce they are #13 on the list. For more info you can go to www.ewg.org/foodnews/list.php.
