4. Green Monster Smoothie
This recipe is a little bit more green-tasting than the rest of these smoothies, but if you’re ready to up the green ante, this is a great way to start!
- 1 Haas avocado, peeled, pitted, and chopped
- 1 apple, chopped and cored
- 1/2 cup kale, ribs removed and chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1-2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, chopped
- 1/4 cup frozen mango or pineapple
- 5 ice cubes
- 2 cups water
- Blend. Blend. Give your blender a break, then blend some more. Take another break and blend one more time for good measure. Drink!
