HIT is probably good for most people and good for fitness, but is probably not enough for a professional sportsman. If that's all Beckham does, then he won't be that fit, but probably also doesn't need to be to kick a ball around for 90 minutes. There are a lot more physically demanding sports where endurance fitness is also required (tennis, cycling etc) and most professional sports players will be as fit, if not fitter than Beckham. This type of training might be a part of the fitness routines of people like Nadal and Djokovic, but they would have to do other work as well.

Don't try this at home, children.
Really helpful? Bloke in red shirt talking earnestly to us, flashing up numbers and about 5 whole seconds of a still of the lovely David. (I rather think it's a cheek to claim he owes his fitness to some fairly recent idea when he's been at the top since the last millennium.)

Google "200 situps challenge", proves how good interval training is. Seriously I did 100 situps last night with only a little bit of pain :D Although me or my boyfriend will never be in Davids league :(

Interval training is more beneficial that long slow repetition training, but I believe David Beckham has probably every day soccer training for hours, so it can't be just interval training for 5 min.a day that makes David Beckham's body looking like that.

Doesn't matter. You'll never look as good as Beckham!
