You CAN get a good natural honey in the stores...Bee Natural Honey (natures finest Wildflower) Says on the front 100% Pure-Unfiltered-Uncooked. It's more expensive than the other honey's, of course, but easier to get than finding a bee keeper. lol. And since bees are getting scarce these days, I would recommend buying all the honey you can get at todays prices. Mint is very easy to grow, from experience, but be careful..it grows/spreads fast. Best grown in a pot.

1 egg
3 fl oz coconut oil
1 tablespoon honey
beat egg thoroughly. Slowly add the coconut oil and honey, beating until it makes the consistency of mayonnaise. Take plastic wrap and smooth our the mixture on it. Best if you create thick lines and place it in the freezer. Once frozen you may peel away the stick you will use and rub it on your face. Leave on for 5 to 10 min. Rinse with warm water. You can keep the rest of the sticks for several months in the freezer to use afterwards. This is good to smooth wrinkles and moisten dry skin.
To clean and tighten pores:
1 tablespoon honey
1 egg
1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers (crumbled)
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh mint
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and apply to the face and neck. Leave it until it dries. Rinse off with warm water. makes one application.
There are lots of other facial masks that use honey for different skin needs. Honey is great!

No, you can use the store bought kind, just not as good as the raw stuff. It's like buying fresh organic fruit vs. processed packaged fruit. By the way. Honey is also a great preservative. Honey jars have been found in Egyptian tombs and are till good. It is a great preservative and will work great with the cream. The warm bath should melt the honey and mix well the cream. This is an old beauty recipe. Works great and very relaxing.

Dairy products will not curdle in hot water just as they will not in tea if the milk is fresh. Just be sure to rinse yourself and the tub afterwards.

Won't the cream curdle and smell sour in the hot water?

Are you saying that if raw honey is unavailable or impracticle, that
nothing else will do?

Raw honey is honey just like the bees eat it. You can get it from a beekeeper or sometimes you can find it at a farmer's market. The reason you want this one is because you get all the vitamins and nutrients. Honey you buy at the supermarket has been ultra filtered and heated and sometimes they add things to it. Honey has lots of potent antioxidants and vitamins, copper, propolis just to name a few. All great for the skin.
