sitting straight up is more tiring than leaning back. Our office has trouble with poor desk design. Of course they got a cheap deal on the desks, now half the staff have neck back and shoulders issues. What possessed them to buy such poorly designed desks! I spend part of my weekend going from one therapist to another. RMT, physio, chiro, acupuncture. Whoever I can get into, who can help loosen up the tightness. The desk is designed in such a a way that you tend to hunch your shoulders, no matter how you adjust your chair or your desktop items. I actually have a pretty good chair. But getting tired of twisting my body to fit the desk.

thanks, very informative. I'm overworked right now with my studies, and I'm finding it really hard to take breaks, because it's so much... I could definetly apply some of this to my work

glad I walked from that mess and into the garden of life. I spend my days helping others and enjoying nature so much happier this way.
