If you start every morning with a steamy cup, a quick tabulation can show you that the waste is piling up. Invest in a stainless steel reusable cup. Read this and step out of the coffee line.

+ add your ownI have used the same plastic cup for years, I know it is plastic, but why discard when it is used daily , again for years. Now if it buys the farm I have a stainless for back up. Now for the coffee, bad habit here, I drink about 20 cups a day. GREEN COFFEE.. Now for a coffee break
i need to begin using a reusable cup and making my own coffee rather than running to starbucks to grab a latte or something. waste is adding up, and why purchase when i can make my own coffee drinks with fair trade coffee to boot?
I always have a cup of coffee in the morning at work..To keep me awake and Get started!
dog ear problems
I have a cup at work for my coffee and sometimes I bring my own coffee. I also have silverware at work.

thanks so much
Thanks for the idea! My husband is a big coffee drinker and as the economy is trying to get it's bearings I'm finding myself not getting Starbucks each morning anymore. I'm definitely going to start looking for a coffee pot and travel mugs and create a new morning coffee ritual that doesn't include Baristas, lots of waste or high prices. Please visit my website which talks about all my ventures into the Green World fromnormaltgreen.com or fromnormaltogreen.com/blog
Thanks
Definitely go with my own travel mug...not only is it better for the environment, but it's cheaper!
