A couple of weeks ago, nearly 250 Care2 readers described their pet in one word. I chose the words “determined” to describe Sanchez and “playful” to capture Gina.
I wonder all the time what — given the opportunity — my dogs would say to me. I’m almost certain that Sanchez spends his days trying to figure out how to get me to give him treats. Gina, on the other hand, is more interested in what’s going on around her.
Here’s what I think they would say if they could talk:
Sanchez: “Where’s my treat? Hand it over, and nobody will get hurt.”
Gina: “I want that dog’s toy and I want it now!”
How about your dogs? What do you think they would say? Please share your pet’s words here in one or two sentences.

I sometimes wonder if they could talk, would that really be better? Part of the charm is how we perceive what they are thinking.
Noted- thank you
I just lost my black lab of 16 years. If he could come back for a moment and talk to me, I'm sure he would say Thank You Dad for all those years of love and careing you have given me and I hope you find another buddy to sleep on your bed and receive the love you have given me. (I love you Shadow)
Thanks.
