sad
there have been supposed sightings of the tasmanian tiger and i've seen the fossils of the irish elk built up like as if it was alive [bone structure through fossilized bone that is], antlers and all. massive doesn't cover it!
#6 would have been incredible (and a little frightening) to see in the wild
we killed them all. humans, that is. pretty sad
With the exception of the Yangtze River dolphin, there is one similarity in the extinction of these animals.......European expansion. It seems that we killed most of the animals, and while we are conservation minded now, we weren't when we needed to be, and now it's too late. We are doing the same things with elephants and other big game animals, we killed them in the millions and now want to blame the Chinese, when it was us who killed so many of them that it made their populations unsustainable.
Thanks for this one.
Insanely sad.
its very unfortunate that we have come to this stage. it should never have been the case. and humans continue to destroy the planet and nature on a daily basis, without so much as a thought. its a great pity the earth will not last as long.
Sooner Or Later Humans Will Go The Way Of The DODO.
