My parents are celebrating their fortieth wedding anniversary in a month. I had already given them a gift that spanned multiple occasions, including their anniversary, earlier this year but I still wanted to do something special for them. After all, it’s a special thing when a marriage lasts that long. I wanted something unique.
After many hours I finally thought of something different that really commemorates their special day: A Letter from the Prime Minister of Canada congratulating them on this important milestone in their lives (my parents live in Ontario, Canada)! Only available for certain occasions, it’s a beautifully-inscribed letter ready for framing. If anyone reading this knows my parents, please keep this secret under wraps. The framed letter will be presented to my folks at their anniversary party in July. I hope they will love it.

And, don’t forget to add your comments to my blog over the next four weeks because, with the help of the kind people at Care2.com, I’ll be giving away free copies of my books! Winners will be selected from the comments!
