Kindness Revolution Day 4: Foot Massage

Who doesn’t love a good foot massage?  That’s what I was thinking today.  If you’ve been following along you know that I’m giving away 29 gifts in 29 days, inspired by the similarly named book 29 Gifts.  And, I’m asking you to do the same.

And, for your efforts, the kind people at Care2.com are helping me give away free copies of my books as my gift to you.  Winners will be selected from the comments on my blog over the next four weeks. Let’s start a Kindness Revolution by focusing on giving to others, rather than on what we get get from them.

If you missed the first blog in the series, be sure to read Join the Kindness Revolution: 29 Gifts in 29 Days.

After a long and busy workday, I offered my husband a foot massage.  He seemed to love it!  I think he may even have dozed off at one point.  And, I was happy to help him experience less tension and stress in his day.  His environmental conservation and community development efforts in the popular Clayoquot Sound rainforest region of Canada can be fulfilling but also exhausting.

Why not offer someone you love a foot massage today?  Our feet carry us everywhere we go and can suffer from the ills of less-than-comfortable footwear or long days standing or walking.  All you need is a pair of hands, a pair of feet, a towel, and massage oil.  Why not show someone you love how much to appreciate them with a foot massage or other show of appreciation today?
