Light Up The Night With DIY Lanterns

With the nights getting longer, there is even more incentive to light them up.

After the editors of Gardenista ran across this colored lantern set from Darby Smart, they decided to test the kit themselves. Simple instructions, easy steps, and in a matter of minutes, they had them strung up in a tree in the backyard.

Who says it’s too late in the season to throw one more outdoor cocktail party?

I love hanging jar lights. :) I've also noticed a lot of stores stocking the vintage style glass milk bottles, I'm thinking of using a few of them to create lights.

It's way too cold to do these now, but come spring, they will be a great idea for an outside cookout.

Hey , hope you've had a good thanksgiving weekend , I am currently working on getting more signatures for Adhd to be brought into light in the school systems. The teachers are very receptive and they want to learn about Adhd , so schools, adopt training for teachers and staff!
Please sign this so that we can have better management for Adhd students, Thanks for your support,

A great idea but regarding the question 'is it too late to throw one last outdoor cocktail party', I live in the UK and the answer is yes, sadly it is. We had a great summer this year but now the seasons have moved on, each brings its' own beauty but for the next few months cocktail parties will be in doors, or outdoors wrapped up in very warm coats!
