Little Known Mineral for Blood Sugar Control

Many of us have heard of chromium for blood sugar control, but how many think of vanadium? Like chrominum it has been found to help regulate sugar in the body naturally by acting in a similar way to insulin. While studies have shown that vanadium is helpful for metabolic syndrome it may not be beneficial for diabetics. It has also been found to participate in fat metabolism and energy production. It may also inhibit the formation of cholesterol.

It isn’t easy to find vanadium. Most vitamin/mineral pills don’t include it. General recommendations are for 20-30mg a day although there is no established RDA for it. Here are some sources:

Seafood
Shellfish, especially lobster
Vegetables
Parsley
Soy
Corn
Olives
Olive oil
Black pepper
Dill
Radishes
Snap beans
Whole grains

Some of the “living” vitamin and mineral products contain vanadium.

The hops plant contains "xanthohumol", a molecule that has been shown to balance your blood sugar. I'm able to regulate mine, and I have a daughter and a good friend who have greatly reduced their insulin usage with MeridiumXN. It contains Xanthohumol. You can Google Xanthohumol to find the research and some amazing results.
visit www.health-4-u.org to find more about MeridiumXN. You can even try a Free 30 day supply at www.freemxn.com
