Train riders in Wales got a surprise this weekend when an unknown man tried to take his pony for a ride. The man first attempted to buy two tickets — one for himself and one for the horse — for a two hour train ride from Wrexham to Holyhead. After being refused, the man continued to the platform anyway, a journey that involved an elevator ride for him and the horse.
When the train arrived, the man tried to board with his horse, but was again refused, this time by a conductor. The man finally left, after being asked to do so by security.
A spokeswoman for Arriva Trains Wales said, “We do allow small animals, such as dogs and guide dogs, onboard but not large animals that could pose a risk to the general public.”
Security camera footage of the incident:
What do you think? Did the man risk public safety and/or safety of the horse? Or should larger animals be allowed to ride?

Huh?
Thanks for the article.
I can update you on this story. Yesterday it was announced that the horse has now been taken to a sanctuary by the RSPCA (here in the UK). It's owner has got mental health problems. The town where this happened is only 20 miles from where I live.
Could not see video, had been taken off....but really, do you want to ride beside a horse?????
