That water bears the imprint of its surroundings is understood and accepted.

That water bears the imprint of its spiritual surroundings—commonly known as Chi—and that this imprinting phenomenon is increasingly being documented, is one of the biggest developments for transforming our understanding of water and healing the environment.

Masaru Emoto, a doctor of alternative medicine in Japan, has published two books full of photos of water that show its hado (Emoto’s term for Chi). He has done this by freezing water and photographing the water crystals.

The earliest photos of water crystals in the books show pure water and polluted water, and these photos alone are enough to change your view of pollution forever. The pure, clean water crystallizes into stunning crystals of mesmerizing beauty. The polluted water is dark and cancerous looking, and the water isn’t able to crystallize, but stays looking like an oozing sore. Who would ever want to drink that?

But the truly awesome, mind-changing photos are of water crystals from water that has been imbued with music, and then the crystals of water that have been imbued with love, gratitude, and even hate. Lastly, you can see polluted, cancerous water transformed to beautiful crystals by love and music. To see this for yourself, go to the hado site, and click on the word Introduction, on the left-hand nav bar.

Dr. Emoto's findings are a great proof that we create our material reality with our thoughts: the outer world is a reflection of our inner thoughts. Just have a look at the many books and movies about this topic (the Law of Attraction)... So when we want a positive life in a positively evolving world, we have to foster positive thoughts. Be the change...

I feel an indescribable affinity to water and believe it is life-giving, soothing, mystsical, sensual, spiritual. My curiosity is aroused by the book by Masura Emoto and I will now search for it at the book store.

I also heard about these frozen photographs through the movie 'What the Bleep do We Know'... Correct me if I'm wrong here: Water was put in jars each with a label of a word, I think it was. After a certain period of time the crystals and the word almost identically matched in connotation. I don't know how I can explain it any better. I hope everyone gets the chance to see them.

I used to think that water having any ability to capture various types of energy --like love, was all "hokiness", until I thought about it more.

Water conducts electricity; vast quantities of water are required in our bodies for life. Water is Life!

When we throw a stone in a pond, we can see the endless ripple effects created. Water reflects.

If life giving , reflective water that captures the energy of a stone thrown into it-- creating obvious ripple effects, then it does not surprise me that it can also capture and reflect other less obvious vibrations.

Water has such a sensitive pure nature, that it makes sense that it will capture emotional and spiritual vibrations we emit.

Water symbolizes the Holy Spirit-- and what better element to teach us the beauty of Love!

Dr. Emoto's work is featured in the incredible film "What the bleep Do We Know?!"

If you have the opportunity to see one of Dr. Emoto's seminars I HIGHLY recommend it. Some of the aspects seem a tad bit commercialized but the underlying message is powerful.

As possibly moronic as it may seem, my only thought is "Wow!". At some deep level these images moved me. I "know" that our thoughts/intentions alter reality but to see it expressed so vividly... And as stated, we are all connected and made of water. What a difference could we make by filling ourselves with beauty, music, prayer, love...what would ripple outwards, spreading to the world? Ah, lovely!

Ah! the power of the Mind! I also use a Fuji stone in my carafe of water which is used for daily drinking & ongoing gratitude.

I was amazed when I saw the photography of Dr. Emoto some years ago showing water crystals pure and tained with negative thoughts, anger and selfishness. Water shows that we are all connected. Water is a symbol of unity.

Aqua Vitae

Born in the fire of the stars,
expanding with the universe,
joining in union
with the elements -
Aqua vitae.

Descending from the heavens
in the purity of creation,
a droplet of water,
seed of life,
separate;
a unique entity
joining with the many.

Not lost amidst,
but part of,
the vast ocean.
Powerful,
Pounding;
yet tranquil, serene, calming,
nuturing life;
being life.

Primal mother of my being,
in your essence
I find mine.
Flow within me,
as I flow within you.
Aqua vitae,
I am part always of your eternal soul.

Next to fresh air, water is the most precious thing required by all living beings. In one way water is also air. Fishes have their 'breathing' through water and their "prana vayu" or life giving and sustaining oxygen they take from water. As a school boy I learnt in my native Malayalam languages one small poem and the meaning goes loike this. Milk and water are bossom friends and milk cannot live without water. When milk is boiled and when water gets evaporated, the milk spills over the vessel and fall over the fire. The poetic explanation is that because of the disappearance of water out of sadness of separation the milk jumbs on fire and commits suicide. This is just a poetic presentation and its explanation. Water is very precious in our lives.
