Newlyweds’–or Anybody’s–Body Butter

It’s June, people are marrying left and right, and this sweetly enticing body-butter formula–which tastes as great as it feels–makes the perfect shower or wedding gift.

Easy to make with kitchen-cupboard ingredients, wonderful for the skin, and a treat for anybody, not just the bride and groom!

INGREDIENTS

4 heaping tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
2 tablespoons white sugar
4 teaspoons honey
2 teaspoons virgin coconut oil
2 tablespoon distilled water

1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients well to combine. Add more water if needed to obtain a smooth consistency (except for the peanut pieces).

2. To use, stand naked in the tub, scoop the mixture into your palms, and massage over your or your partner’s skin surface, starting with extremities and working toward the center of your body. The peanuts and sugar provide gentle exfoliation, while the rest of the ingredients soothe and nourish. Shower, using a gentle cleanser to remove the butter. Pat skin lightly dry as usual, and follow with moisturizer if desired.

Makes enough for 2 people to use once.

Yuk. Had to shower and scrub twice to get the stink of peanut butter off. AND CAUTION: If you have a nut/peanut allergy, THIS IS A HIGHLY ALLERGIC TREATMENT.
