Meerkats occasionally reject the most frail of their litters if they can’t take care of all the pups. This was unfortunately the case for Charlie, the fourth and smallest of his siblings. Soon after birth, Charlie became the outcast of his family.
Because of meerkats’ incredibly territorial natures, baby Charlie nearly died alone. But after a twist of fate, this little guy now has a lot to be thankful for: upon discovering Charlie, Chessington Zoo keepers jumped into action to shower him with special attention. Now nursed back to health, Charlie is a well-loved meerkat with endless opportunities to socialize and make new friends.

Poor little Charlie. Hope that he stays contented & manages to eventually integrate with his own kind. P.S. the music is too loud on the video & you can't hear what the lady is saying.
Meerkats can live up to 12 or 14 years in captivity - they are lucky to last half that long in the wild. Be happy for the little guy. Evicted meerkats also form their own groups..so there is plenty of hope for him!
