Yes, a porcupine is definitely an unusual pet. Lots of fun in the house as long as you remember to wear gloves. Watch him dance and play.

Cute! Never thought about porcupines being playful and "cuddly" but it seems they can be! Amazing how many wild animals can be playful under the right circumstances. I hope this does not lead to a sudden "demand" for porcupines for the "pet trade"! Most people would not be able to meet this animal's needs!

The person who says this animal carries rabies is perhaps rabid herself. It is a precious video and I thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you for sharing it.
Why is this animal in the hands of humans? It obviously has been there a long time because it is so comfortable. (Maybe I missed the explanation. The volume was not working very well.)
