We all know that a steam facial to open our pores and nourish our skin with some herbal goodness would be a good thing. But who has time? Well, this quick recipe for facial success is perfect for all of us who want the deep skin-nourishing benefits of a steam facial but who don’t have a lot of time to fiddle with preparing one.

Learn this quick trick for healthy, happy skin here:

INGREDIENTS
1 chamomile teabag
1 peppermint teabag
3 cups boiling water

1. Place the teabags in a large bowl and cover them with boiling water. Allow to steep 2 minutes.

2. Place a clean towel over your head and the bowl, being sure to keep your face at least 8 inches away from the surface of the water.

3. Steam 10 minutes.

This is great... It was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep! :)

Rae, if you're allergic to chamomile, just use 2 peppermint teabags, or another herbal tea of your choice. Chamomile is soothing to the skin, but you'll benefit from the steam with or without it.

This is quick and easy and I already have the ingrediants - thanks for the suggestion.

And when you're finished, have a cup of the still-warm tea. The chamomile will help you relax and the peppermint is good for the digestion.

sounds good to me, thanks for the tip

I'm allergic to chamomile. Is there an alternative tea that can be used for this?

Thank you :)
