The music on it is a bit irritating, and the patriotism shit is vile, but the story is ok. shame they think that they are from 2 different cultures. Black America and white America.
Her leaving her home to go to training camp is normal in high level sports, they all have the same story, if her story is being highlighted here because she is black...isn't that racist too? Why single her out? When there are many gold medallists to choose from? Or is she the non threatening one? The cute little manipulative girl representative of white Americas control over their blacks. She is a great gymnast. A product of her genes and her training, and to a lesser degree her environment. But every one of the Olympic athletes has an inspiring story. As inspiring stories go, this one is particularly dull and pedestrian, and not inspiring at all.
