After being rescued and rehabilitated by the organization Picardie Nature, these 10 baby seals are finally ready to return to the ocean. A group of volunteers helped to release them into France’s Bay of Somme … and there can be no question that they’re happy to be home again. Look at them go!
Note: the objects on the seals’ heads are likely tracking devices, which help the rescue group ensure that the seals safely return to the wild. They do not hurt the seals, and will come off naturally when the seal molts.
