We do not need to be mining coal for the benefit of China and those who would make big bucks from sellling it to them, while it causes environmental destruction, sickness and death to our people, and use of which further contributes to global warming. That is greedy insanity on behalf of the few who will profit from it to the detriment of the many, yet again. We should be finding clean sustainable alternative sources of energy for ourselves and be encouraging other nations to do the same instead of promoting using the same dirty methods that are in effect now. Let China descimate their own forests, let them mine for coal in their own country, but do NOT destroy ours for their benefit and the benefit of the greedy few.
