You get all sorts on rooftops, even trees, bee hives, swimming pools... and some mobile phone operators disguise their roof aerials as trees so people don't notice their presence and complain.

Perhaps this is an idea that could take off in our own upward not sprawling cities ... if some sort of overshield was added for protection (as botanical greenhouses already have). Great idea, with endless possibilities for a greater good, none the less.
