Two Greenpeace research ships are currently journeying through the waters of the North, seeking both to raise awareness of the melting Arctic and to gather scientific documentation of the environment prior to the arrival of oil drilling companies. In collaboration with Column Five Media, Greenpeace has released a new infographic map that traces the journey of the ships’ “Save the Arctic” tour, which focuses on the Arctic’s history, its environmental marvels, and the ongoing threats to the region’s pristine beauty.
