Einstein, the World’s Smallest Horse (2 videos)

When he was born on April 22, 2010 Einstein weighted 6 pounds and stood 14 inches high. These two videos show you Einstein in action. In his posting Jake Richardson introduced us to Einstein, the world’s smallest horse, and the controversy surrounding miniature horses.

The first video of him was shot when he was a week old. You’ll see him in his stall with his mom, being carried by his owner, and taking his first walk with his mom watching over him.

Go to page 2 to see a video interview with Einstein’s owners and more shots of him playing and exploring.

This video is with Einstein and his owners. It was shot when he was 3 weeks old and is an interview from The Early Show which shows more of Einstein in action and also discusses the issues around miniature horses.

He is a precious little guy. I'm glad he will be a pet and was born in a good place. It's horrible to think these small ponies in mining.

Not sure why we have dug up a 6/22/10 article? What is it with the human being that makes
us think it's ok to tinker with genetics to create a freak of nature? Sick.
