The newest, and according to anecdotal reports only, Magnesium Threonate(the only magnesium source that is able to cross the blood/ brain barrier), is supposed to outshine all other previous so called Memory Boosters. The caveat, it is expensive as usual.

Personally, I stick with DHA (950mg daily).

I need to make sure my mom and stepdad (54 + 62) do more every week to maintain their memories. I can't imagine either of them having Alzheimer's or dementia.

I read in Science Daily News recently that antioxidants have not been proven to help Alzheimer's unfortunately. I take them anyway, good for lots of other "what ails ya". Will try some of the suggestions, can only help!
