
5. In addition to being chemically altered into something that hard to digest and causes problems, today’s milk usually contains steroids, antibiotics, pesticides from treated grains, bacteria from infected animals, and genetically engineered growth hormones.
So if you do drink milk, I suggest you look for pure raw milk from grass fed cows (which is hard to get in most states unfortunately), because it may not be the milk per se, but how milk is chemically altered that causes the problems.

Unfortunately i have to stuck with cow's milk
Never really cared for milk. I hate the taste and the concept freaks me out. I like almond milk much better. I do eat cheese and ice cream though, but only organic.
Cow's milk is linked to all manner of health ailments and diseases. Have a look at the 'Not Milk' website.

Numerous healthy, nutritious plant milks are available - soya, almond, hazelnut, coconut, rice, oat and others....
Milk is very tasty when it comes from non-factory farm dairy...organic is wonderful.

Yasmin, try using coconut milk in your lassi, coconut milk is delicious and has many benefits not found in other dairy alternatives.

hmm...i read a lot of bad things about milk...in my country people drink a lot of it...guess i should only drink my tea and stop with the milk
