Smallest (Cutest!) Rodent in the World

The pygmy jerboa is the smallest rodent in the world, and we’re thinking perhaps the cutest as well. We only hope that these little guys aren’t so cute that people start coveting them as pets. What do you think?

I love the many animal videos shown but I REALLY WISH people would not get too close to the subjects with their cameras/phones. The 'out of focus' shots are awful folks!

Cute, cuddly, but size alone means special handling and protection. Wombats and Capibara for example, are big enough to be seen and not accidentally crushed or lost.
