Soothing Autumn Oat Bath Formula

With the days getting shorter and chillier and the demands of school and office increasing, stress is often nipping at our heels. This formula rates right up there with the easiest, simplest way ever to beat that stress and soothe the soul. It only takes two ingredients, and children will find it as calming as you will.

This may become a family bath favorite, the perfect way to relax before bedtime. After all, oats are great for the nerves, and lavender is a traditional aromatherapy scent for calming and relaxing.

In a muslin bag or square of cotton fabric (a handkerchief is perfect), place the following:

1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
3 drops lavender essential oil

Tie the bag tightly shut with a piece of string, and add this bath bundle as you fill the tub with warm water, then use it as a washcloth to smooth the slippery, soothing oats all over.

Been as I suffer from excema this sounds right up my street. I used to put oats straight into the bath!!!!!! They do get very slippery so I will have to dig out some hankies to put them in. Sounds lush andI cant wait......
