Who was it that said, “If you’re not stressed, you’re not paying attention”? But stress is harmful to our health and can make us feel depleted and tired, and can make us look older than our years.

Now that the weather is getting cooler with the first days of fall, a warm, relaxing bath is just what the Wise Woman ordered to relieve your stress. Try this soothing bath secret to help melt away your tension.

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons uncooked rice
1 unpeeled, chopped raw potato

1. Place the oil in the warm bathwater.

2. Place the rice and potato in a net (use cheesecloth, a muslin bag, or a piece of old pantyhose) and suspend in the water.

3. Lie down in the tub, close your eyes, and concentrate on your tailbone. While doing this, massage the soles of your feet.
