Steal This Look: Accents from Morocco

For these spaces, the owners and designers looked far east to add a Moroccan vibe. We admire the touches of exotic flair that bring an unexpected sense of worldliness to the home.

Above:  Moroccan glazed clay tiles, called Zellige, add vibrant, glossy color to this kitchen (seen on The Kitchen Designer).

Above: Folding towels never looked so chic: a stylish laundry room featuring graphic floor tile from Morocco-based Popham Designs. The tiles are made by hand in Marrakech by local artisans.

Above: Another vibrant Moroccan look using tiles from the Popham Designs Paccha line.

Above: This dining room, seen on Kikette Interiors, gets a dose of North African flair from a Moroccan embroidered straw rug.

Above: An exotic, do-it-yourself headboard that uses a vintage Moroccan wedding blanket (also called a Handira).

Love the kitchen look, but agree with Terry that 'steal' is a poor choice of words.

"Steal" is a very poor choice to use as a title

Thank you! I love the headboard and the kitchen - although the kitchen deserves a house that matches its decor.
