Throughout the holiday season we speak of peace on Earth, and good will towards everyone. What about those family members who we don’t feel peaceful about?
I hope this year will be the year that you can say with all your heart, “Peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.”
The blog, Becoming Minimalist addresses the gift of creating overdue family peace with these 4 steps:
4 Steps For Making Peace
1. Determine to be responsible for your attitude, not others’.
2. Embrace humility and forgive.
3. Accept disagreement and put it behind you.
4. Take the first step.
My Hope For Peace…Someday
Last year, I was enjoying the snow and the gifts of my family and I gave the Care2 readers, Baby, It’s Cold Outside (a favorite holiday song). That sentiment still holds true, and this year I would like to give you peace…someday. Thank you, Stevie.

Good to remember. If we just try and make an honest effort, someday will be today. It won't always be easy true, but anything worth doing is wroth doing right. One day at a time, one step at a time. :)
Valuable life lesson but not always easy in all family situations.
There is no way to peace, because peace is the way most people just don't see it that way because they want nothing to do with peace... but hopefully one day soon that will change.
Forgiveness is a very noble and important gesture in life but I don't think it can happen in silence and solitude. I think it's a process that takes real dialogue and communication.
Thanks for the article.
ty, not always that easy but one to remember
